Nurse Practitioners provide a blend of nursing and medical science to provide care across a range of diverse settings.
“Nurse practitioners are highly skilled autonomous health practitioners who have advanced education, clinical training and demonstrated competency. They have the legal authority to practice beyond the level of a registered nurse.
Nurse practitioners combine their advanced nursing knowledge and skills with diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic knowledge. They provide care for people with both common and complex conditions.”

NPs in New Zealand require a minimum of a Masters of Nursing obtained through an accredited course provider and experience in an area of practice they see themselves working in as an NP.
I am delighted to be supporting budding NPs, NP Candidates and qualified NPs with Professional Supervision and Mentorship.
It gives me a great feeling to watch them grow and flourish building on their strengths and recognising areas for growth, but most of all when they reach their goal of becoming an NP this is really heartwarming. I feel extremely priveldiged. It is a professional partnership so worthwhile pursuing.
So if I have provided you with supervision or I am currently - thank you for all your hard work.
