This video is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of professional supervision. It answers the question, What is supervision? I discuss its origins, benefits, and how we can utilise reflection and protected 1:1 or group time to improve practice and safeguard against burnout, regardless of our chosen health profession. As well, I provide insight on how to access supervision, how to recognise a supervisor as a “good fit” and what to do if the fit is not right.
